Challenges and Motivation in the CYBATHLON Competition. Jamie Borosoff, a professor at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, discusses his team’s participation in the CYBATHLON and their goal to innovate in the field of wheelchair design. They are developing a manual wheelchair with attachments that can eventually be used in a power wheelchair competition. The CYBATHLON raises awareness about disability and promotes inclusivity, similar to the Paralympics. The competition has motivated Borosoff’s team and pushed them to overcome challenges. The team is excited to showcase their innovation and learn from the experience.
